WP worm gear reducer is developed on the basis of WD reducer. The worm is made of 45# steel after heat treatment, and the worm wheel is cast in tin bronze, especially in bearing capacity. Precautions for installation of cast iron worm gear reducer
1. The reducer must be installed on a flat and firm base, and the anchor bolts must be firmly shockproof.
2. The connecting shafts of prime mover - reducer - working machine extend and must be precisely aligned with each other after installation.
3. The tolerance dimensions of shaft extension outer diameter at the input and output ends of the reducer are formulated according to H6. The matching inner holes of the coupling, belt pulley, sprocket and other transmission components must be prepared according to the appropriate tolerance dimensions, so as to avoid too tight assembly damaging the bearing and too loose assembly affecting the normal power transmission.
4. When the sprocket, gear and other transmission parts are installed with shaft extension, they should be as close to the bearing as possible to reduce the bending stress of shaft extension.
5. When assembling the motor with 5. WPD or FCD reducer, grease should be applied to the inner hole wall and keyway of the worm head to avoid over-tightening and prevent the shaft hole from rusting over time.
6. When ordering and using various WPD or FCD reducers, if the motor weight is too large, support devices should be set up.
