The reducer cannot be overloaded
The reducer manufacturer said that this situation is similar to the lighting in the home. The current is very high when starting, but the current will be higher in normal use than when just starting, so is the motor. What is the principle? Here we need to understand it from the perspective of motor starting principle and motor rotation principle: when the induction motor is in the stopped state, from the perspective of electromagnetism, it is like a transformer. The stator winding connected to the power supply is equivalent to the primary coil of the transformer, and the closed rotor winding is equivalent to the secondary coil of the transformer which is short-circuited; There is no electrical connection between the stator winding and the rotor winding, only the magnetic connection. The magnetic flux forms a closed circuit through the stator, air gap and rotor core. At the moment of closing, the rotor has not turned up due to inertia, and the rotating magnetic field cuts the rotor winding at a higher cutting speed - synchronous speed, so that the rotor winding can induce a higher potential that can be reached. Therefore, a large current flows through the rotor conductor, which generates magnetic energy to counteract the stator magnetic field, just as the secondary magnetic flux of the transformer will counteract the primary magnetic flux.
The other is the quality problem when the manufacturer uses raw materials. Some manufacturers use the poor original materials in order to save costs and reduce prices when selecting reducer materials. In this case, even if the user is in normal operation, it is easy to have a tooth. In general, the box material used is HT250 high-strength cast iron, the gear material is high-quality 20CrMo high-quality alloy steel and has been carburized for many times, and the surface hardness of the flat key on the shaft of the reducer is up to HRC50. Therefore, when selecting the reducer, you need to have a relevant understanding of the reducer, and don't just care about the price.
There are two possible situations for this user. One is the user's own problem. During the use of the reducer motor, compared with the load operation of the machine itself, there will be a situation like overload operation and the machine can't stand it. So when we sell the reducer, we also remind the customer not to run under the load, which will lead to the corresponding gear or worm gear of the reducer motor can't stand it during the whole operation process, so there is such a situation - tooth chipping or increased wear.
